TROOPS TO COLLEGE
Created by former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Troops to College program is designed to encourage more veterans to attend California's veteran-friendly campuses. A collaboration between the California Department of Veterans Affairs, the Office of the Secretary of Education, the Labor and Workforce Development Agency, and military branches within the state, Troops to College is helping increase veteran awareness of, and access to, their full range of educational options.
ACADEMIC ADVISING
The University Advisement Center provides academic advising to help you choose the right courses for the degree you want and to help you stay on track so you can graduate with your degree on time.
EAP
If you're an 11th grader in a California public high school, now's the time to take advantage of the Early Assessment Program. You'll find out your senior year what areas you need to work on to get ready for CSUDH college English and mathematic classes. Plus, you'll have your whole senior year to build those skills before you start at the university.
DISABLED STUDENT SERVICES
We provide assistance with parking, priority registration, testing accommodation, writer services for exams and papers, reader services for exams, text books and research, taped text books, interpreting services and more. We also work with disabled students to help them develop strategies for managing their time, increasing their independence, and making the most of their university experience.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SERVICES
The International Student Services (ISS) office provides services to international students on F-1 visas. Some services include travel signatures, career practical training (CPT), SEVIS transfers, optional practical training (OPT) and much more.
ISS also coordinates cultural and social events that allow our students to share their national heritage and get involved with the campus educational community. Additionally, the center provides information for on- and off-campus resources.
